As part of National Blog Posting Month and 30 Days of Thanks (or 30 Days of Gratitude), I’m taking time each day to note what I’m thankful for. Some of these posts may be combined. I even created a link-up, if you’re interested in joining along.
Day 3: I’m thankful for kind strangers. Yesterday I was in a fabric store and a lady randomly asked for my opinion on color choices of zippers compared to fabric. In another craft store, someone helped me figure out what store in town sells plaster animals that could be painted (Michaels, we think. I didn’t actually get a chance to check.)
As we get closer to Christmas, I notice that not everyone is so kind. People tend to get stressed out with the pressures of getting the best gift, the best deal, the best whatever. And they aren’t always the nicest people. So today I’m thankful for the lady who asked for my opinion in the fabric store. I’m glad there are nice people still hanging in some of my favorite stores.
For every mean person there are many more nice ones. Love that you are focusing on the good ones 🙂
I’m thankful for kind strangers, too. I’m often one of them for others, but I like when people are equally as nice!
