day of no plans
Today we had a day of no plans. No baby showers, no trips, no baby classes. We were able to do whatever we wanted, at our own pace, and not stick to a schedule like we’ve had to do all summer long. It was much-needed.
There was gardening (vegetables and flowers), and even Chloe got in on the action. Grocery shopping was done, some laundry was started (I’ve been bad about doing it on Sundays lately, and I can never get it washed, dried, folded and put away if I do it all on Sunday evening!) We then went to my boss’s house for some pool time. After a few hours of cooling off, we headed home.
Tonight was spent downtown. Dinner at Zambra, dessert at the Chocolate Fetish and a little bit of walking around before heading home. In the past half hour, we’ve cleaned out part of the nursery, and started packing hospital bags. (I even came downstairs to grab the baby book for the hospital bag, and ended up blogging. Oops.)
Tomorrow will be more of the same. And I couldn’t be more excited!
Love Zambra! Someone told me about a new tapas place downtown, I wanna try that one soon too.
That sounds like an awesome day. I love Days of Nothing. š
