I took one of my furlough days, and I’m writing this in between internet connectivity. I keep having to reset the cable modem. Charter comes tomorrow evening to fix the lines outside (and they’ll be fixing them in the rain.)

Quick list of what I’ve done today:
Got a massage at Sensibilities. I love that place.
Went to an orthodontist appointment, where a woman was shocked by my age. Her quote, “I didn’t realize how old you were until I looked at it on my screen. You could pass for even younger than a college student!” That was nice 🙂
I ran.
I walked Oliver and Sophie.
The dogs had a playdate over at my house.
I watched several discs of Sex and the City.
I finished reading “Confessions of a Shopaholic.” Very, very cute book. I have another one from the series that I’ll start on later.
I crocheted.
I made Valentine’s cards.

I have much more on my to-do list, but most involve being online. I also want to bust out the sewing machine, but it scares me a bit (plus I need to go buy thread.) Maybe tomorrow evening I can venture into the sewing world.

I think my connection is about to go. Til tomorrow….

  1. Though I am totally going to see the movie because I LOVE Isla Fisher, I kinda hated “Confession” … Becky Bloomwood is such an IDIOT. Like, she was so unbelievably stupid that it pissed me off that the author made her so stupid! A Shopaholic Goes to Manhattan is even worse.

  2. Oohhhh, don’t tell me that the Manhattan book is worse! I just bought the next two (after Manhattan) at the used book store last night. Argh. I thought it was a cute book, although I did want to slap the girl a few times. So dumb. Makes me grateful I’m not that stupid.
