Roundup of fall leaves crafts and activities for younger kids
We spent a lot of time in the leaves this weekend. If you’re new to my blog, well…we have a lot of leaves from just a few trees in our yard. We have to mulch and bag our leaves for the city to pick up (or for my mom to use in her yard) and unfortunately our mower has to be serviced before we can really get busy. We did at least blow leaves into piles for the kids to enjoy until I can get them all mulched. And that gave me an idea for leaf crafts.
My son has been learning about leaves at school and he can tell you all about the different types of leaves! There may be a few leaves in his room that I haven’t found yet. The boy loves a good leaf (and especially loves to play in them.)
I don’t think you’re too old for a good leaf or tree craft, so here are several you can give a try this fall!

What fall-inspired activities are you doing with your kids?
It is time to get our Thanksgiving tree up. We then write on paper leaves what we are thankful for.
Aw. Those crafts look like so much fun for young children. I don’t have littles anymore, but doing arts and crafts projects with them when they were was always treasured time!
My kids are both adults, so we don’t do crafting anymore, but I think I still have a box with all their art supplies in it….you know….for my future grandchildren. A VERY long time from now. I hope you kiddos are enjoying those leaves. They’ll remember that kind of think always!
