fall madness

I think Fall Madness has officially started in our household. Last night, we were going through our next few weekends, and our time together is going to be limited. It does not look enjoyable for the two of us (but I think we’ll still find a way to have fun when we’re apart during those weekends!)

Starting tomorrow, I have the Type-A Mom Conference. I’m totally excited about it. The learning, the networking, the blogging. It’s going to be a blast. And since it’s in my hometown, I have the luxury of coming home each evening to my husband. (And sleeping in my own bed, since I don’t have to rent a hotel room – even better.)

We’re free next weekend (unless any local friends want to fill up the time.) Well, we’re kind of free. There’s homecoming at my college, and since it’s only 20 minutes away and it is super tiny, we’ll be going. Factor in that it’s also my 10-year reunion (yes, my college does reunions because we were small graduating classes), it might be a busy Saturday.

The following weekend (my birthday weekend!!) I’ll be in New York for my cousin’s wedding. Again, uber-fun is to be had.

I think we’re celebrating my birthday a week late on October 16. It’ll be a joint party with a neighborhood friend whose birthday is also that week.

Finally, a really free weekend. Oh wait. Nope. We’ll probably be celebrating our anniversary that weekend.

And then my family is coming to town to see my brother (who will be home for two weeks.)

I guess I’ll see you all in November?
