Fun Father’s Day gifts for the dad in your life
Father’s Day is coming up quickly and I think I’ve come up with some great options for the dad(s) in my life. Better yet, these can ship quickly and many can still arrive before the big day.
And the best part of this guide? You won’t find a single necktie because who needs that this summer?
Here’s a list of Father’s Day gifts perfect for most dads:
Anything from Sunnydaze Decor including a hammock and hammock stand. If the dad in your life doesn’t yet have a hammock, this is an amazing gift. I bought my husband a stand very similar to this one at Sunnydaze Decor and I underestimated how much he would use it. I also bought him a hammock similar to the camping hammock through Sunnydaze Decor. This set includes a large double hammock and stand. It’s under $100 and if you use the code AFFILIATE10 you will save 10% on your order. Sunnydaze Decor also has a fantastic selection of fire pits and outdoor lighting. We’ve really gone to town in our yard – especially since adding our deck in 2021 – and my husband has upgraded most of our lighting and fire pit. Since we spend so much time in our yard, these updates are well received by the whole family.
Tickets to a concert, sporting event, other kind of event. Do you have a local sports team you can purchase tickets for games? We have a minor league baseball team, and can purchase packages of tickets with dates to be determined when we’re ready to plan. My husband has several concerts he wants to attend this summer in our city – all easy gift ideas!
Books if your dad is the reading kind. I bought my husband the Geek Dad books for Father’s Day (and one for Christmas this past year.) He loves them and has done several of the activities with our son over the years! Since our daughter is getting bigger, she can now help with some of the projects.
Treats. Specialty coffees – even a subscription for a coffee of the month – are something fun for my husband to try. If you have a local coffee brewer, try some fun flavors from a shop. Chocolate is always a good treat (and my city has several specialty chocolate shops!)
Beer making kit. If your husband/dad is a beer drinker, I recommend this kit. I gave my husband one MANY years ago and he loved it. I know other friends who have bought this kit for their significant others and they’ve been a hit.
A card, of course. If you don’t want to purchase cards, I highly recommend the Father’s Day minion card tutorial on my site!
Technology. My husband could use a new Kindle. We have a lot of devices in the house, but his Kindle is on its last legs (it was the first one we’ve ever owned – years and years ago!) We don’t spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on Father’s Day (or Mother’s Day) gifts, so the technology gift doesn’t have to be over the top!
love the picture you used on the card. that’s awesome!!
Thanks! That’s actually last year’s card but I don’t think I ever posted it (and the photo was perfect!!)
