I’ve been on Etsy since 2008 and I don’t often share my favorite Etsy shops. Over the years my shop has definitely switched focus from physical products (I used to list some of my ceramic pieces and then embroidered pajamas) to digital files and back to physical products with the launch of my mask business.
Etsy’s Cyber Week Sales are happening now, and there are a ton of sellers who have put many of their items on sale for this week. I think highly of shopping small businesses – and below you can find list of some of my favorite Etsy finds. Below, you’ll also find a list of my favorite Etsy shops – and I know many of these sellers personally!
(Shout out to my own shop which is on sale this week – 15% off – to celebrate the holiday season!)
Three of my holiday favorites lists:
A few of my favorite Etsy shops:
Pew Pew Lasercraft – Lizz owns one of my favorite shops. I have so many ornaments from her and I’ve bought custom pencils (with my son’s name and some with Harry Potter sayings.) Not long after my dad died, she helped me with a picture frame that has his handwriting on it (from a card he gave me a couple of weeks before he died.)
Easy Organized Living – If you are into planners and printables, Nikol is your girl. I recently purchased the gift list from her shop to keep track of everything I’ve purchased, how much I’ve spent, whether I have received it (because I’m doing online ordering.)
Balancing Motherhood shop – Looking for fun Elf on the Shelf printables? THIS is your shop. She also carries other printables like things you can use for Valentine’s Day or date night. They’re all really cute and only a couple of dollars per printable.
Jana’s Creative Place – Really fun embroidery art! You can get a custom embroidery of someone’s handwriting or even download a pattern or order a kit.
The Cosy Cauldron – I know this shop owner from college – in that she was a student who worked in our office. 🙂 She has some of the cutest handmade jewelry and when I was compiling this list she had some really cool candles listed!
Novotny Designs – I have a few items from her shop and last year I ordered several of her handpainted wood slice Christmas ornaments! She has custom signs – some are holiday themed, several are TV show quotes (how fun!) and she offers holiday and seasonal pieces. She even has printables.
Planning Collective – My friend Amiyrah co-created these planners and they are great for entrepreneurs and bloggers in general. I used to be so much better about planning and content creating for my site. Amiyrah is a queen of entrepreneurship! She uses a long list, short list method in planning and I love that. (I LOVE lists.) This shop is all about the physical product versus something you print yourself.
Grounded by the Farm – Janice is another friend I met years ago and she just started her Etsy shop to compliment her Grounded by the Farm business. Her shop has lesson plans to help teach kids all about different foods! I love this, and I think it would be so great for the homeschooling parent OR for those of us who might need some extra lessons for our kids who are remote schooling! There is even a holiday bundle for the fall/winter holidays and this is such a cool concept!
Haidrangea Beauty – Another shop by my friend Amiyrah, but this one focuses on Florida Water. At the moment of this post going live, her items are sold out. HOWEVER, she has teased to the fact that she should have some on sale this weekend – in time for Small Business Saturday. 🙂
Weaver Threads – This shop is run by a former colleague of mine. Fun fact, we worked together at the newspaper before we worked together again at my university, and she retired and moved to the northeast. She creates quilts and stockings that are just beautiful. My daughter was gifted one of her quilts when she was born.
2 Paws Designs – My friend Sarah recently re-launched her shop with masks and at least one other project and they are so cute! She makes the 3-d masks (I don’t) and she also finds some of the best patterns.
The below shops are not friends of mine, but they are shops I’ve purchased from:
The Little Pen – I don’t know this shop owner, but I purchased from this shop a month ago. I bought a “where we met” piece using our first date coordinates. This was a downloadable printable, and I had it within a day of ordering it. It’s such a unique piece of art and you could do your first date, wedding location, first home, birth place of your child(ren) – there are so many options!
TobeyTime Crochet – Do you crochet? If so, you need to check out the crochet patterns for various dolls from this shop. I purchased the Bernie pattern earlier this year and my mom’s working on it now!
SewingForSarah – How about embroidery? I purchased finger puppet patterns through this shop several years ago and still have the puppets I made for my kids. They loved them, they’ve held up nicely and the designs were so cute and simple to use with my embroidery machine!
My Memory Design – Another embroidery design shop that I’ve used. When my daughter was about 6 months old, I took her to Disney with me (for a conference) and I purchased a Halloween-themed design from this shop and created the cutest onesie for my girl. She has her designs on sale, and they are already low priced. Get what you might want in the future because they’re so good!
