A few of my favorite…holiday songs #MusicMonday
I’ve been stuck in a Christmas music warp lately. It got me thinking – what are other people’s favorite holiday songs? I own many holiday/Christmas albums. I love traditional songs by artists that my grandparents enjoy, but I admit to loving songs from Kelly Clarkson and even Taylor Swift. (I’m a big T-Swift fan outside of the holidays. Her holiday album is just ok for me.) Here are a few songs that I’m playing on repeat this month (also, some of the links are affiliate links. I may be compensated if you purchase the album).
1. Kelly Clarkson
– Winter Dreams. I love singing this in the car. It’s difficult for me to not sing it in my office.
2. Straight No Chaser
– how about all of it? These guys are amazing. But, really, I love The 12 Days of Christmas by the group. Especially the middle/ending. I have Holiday Spirits and Christmas Cheers. Both are fantastic and not to be missed.
3. Idina Menzel
– All I Want for Christmas Is You. This one is new to my collection and Idina is FANTASTIC in this song. (I really like Mariah Carey’s version too, but love this one more.)
4. Trans Siberian Orchestra – Christmas Canon. When I worked retail a few years ago during the holidays, I loved when this song came on our playlist. Whatever music they had it repeated itself every so many minutes (which could be awfulllll), but this song is so pretty.
5. Boyz II Men
– Silent Night. Oh yes. I went wayyyyyy back for this song. It’s worth it, though.
Bonus song: Oh Holy Night by Josh Groban. I heard this one again on the radio and couldn’t believe I forgot about it!

I’ve been listening to tons of Christmas music on Pandora lately, but I haven’t heard any of these yet. Bummer, I’ll have to switch stations!
I’m a sucker for the old Mariah Carey album and I have mix CD from college that has all of the best Christmas music that I play. Yes, a mix CD. At least I didn’t say mix tape.
I love my Kelly Calrkson CD, it is on a constant loop for the holidays. These would be great to check out.
TransSibeian Orchestra is definitely one of my faves for the holidays! My kids really rock out too š
Such a hard question because I love Christmas music but I have to say my favorite is Bing Crosby Walking In A Winter Wonderland.
We’re in a Christmas song mood as well! My girls love Jingle Bells!
Boyz II Men Silent Night Acapella for me! I miss them as a group they were so harmonious!

This is a great list of songs. I like Kelly Clarkson and Trans Siberian Orchestra the best.
My all time favorite is Carol of the Bells, but there are so many that get me in the holiday spirit. I really love Mariah Carey’s Christmas album and listen to that several times over during the holidays!

Oh, I’m liking that Kelly Clarkson song! I just Scotty McCreery’s Christmas album but haven’t had much chance to listen to it. I really need to get it on my computer so I can jam while working!
I have been listening to a lot of Adel lately. I love her voice. The only Christmas song i am hooked on is Baby its cold outside.
I love the lineup! I can’t get enough Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
This is an awesome playlist. Idina Menzel and Trans-Siberian Orchestra? You can’t really beat that!

Hahahah I listen to the Boyz II Men Christmas songs every year! Love them. I also have the N’Sync one …yup. I do. Trans Siberian Orchestra is amazing. One of these days I am going to see it live.

LOVE Trans Siberian Orchestra and their holiday songs. I have a playlist with their music on my phone. Love all your selections and Christmas music is some of my favorite!

Hmmm… I love Let it Snow by Boys to Men bu for me it’s Rudolph by the Temptations. It’s not Christmas until I hear that song. š

My favorites are Christmas Everyday by the temptations and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by Anne Lenox
I love Transiberan Orchestra. My mom would play them a lot growing up so it reminds me of my childhood. I will have to check out the rest!
