a few more hours

I have just a few more hours at work and then we head out of town for two days (returning to Asheville Thursdsay night, so I can work on Friday.) This will be a list…

I’m going to see Edwin McCain in Brevard on Saturday night. I’m pretty excited about that. It’ll be a calm, seated show and I get to hang out with Margi for several hours.

I’m hoping to get some running time in on Wednesday and early Thursday. I like running in Lake Waccamaw. It’s flat, and peaceful. I guess I should check out the old iPod and make sure it’s charged!

I downloaded David Cook’s new album from amazon.com over the weekend. I must remember to put it on my iPod before we leave.

I just got an email from someone with my name spelled wrong. I hate when people spell my name wrong, especially when it’s spelled out in front of them. I mean, really. I emailed this person, signed my name and he emailed me back and spelled it wrong. I’m annoyed.

I made cranberry relish this morning. It’s chilling in the fridge, just waiting to be taken on our trip.

The husband made an apple pie last night, for Thursday. It took everything in both of us to not eat it last night. It looks pretty awesome.

My bags are packed. Just waiting until 3:00, when the husband and I are done with work, so we can get out of town. The earlier, the better. We’re both bad night drivers!

  1. Edwin’s fabulous šŸ™‚ I’m just fortunate that he lives so close and plays around here so often! I’m editing the interview I did with him a couple of weeks ago, and I think it might have been one of the best ones yet.

  2. I wish I could be there with you and Margi. I’ll be in Alabama for the next few days. That doesnt, however mean that I dont expect a concert call! The phone will be charged and waiting!

Have a great time. Have a Happy Turkey Day. Loves to you and Kenny.
