Finding allergy relief this spring with Similasan

Every May, like clockwork, I seem to come down with a sinus infection. I’m one of the fortunate ones who suffers from seasonal allergies, though I have a few other random allergies (like pet dander.) I’ve taken a daily allergy medicine for years, but occasionally it doesn’t do the trick – such as every day in May. The weather is nicer, I tend to come out of hibernation for the spring/summer season, and pollen counts are up.
This photo was taken on campus, and the bees are ginormous. I pretend they are doing their best work, and they mostly leave me alone.
I do a lot of running, and when it’s windy, I know my eyes and nose are going to suffer. Despite taking my allergy meds, I need something that’s going to at least help my eyes feel better. Enter Similasan® Allergy Eye Relief™.
Similasan helps alleviate allergy symptoms by temporarily relieving the symptoms of itching, burning, watering and redness in your eyes. Similasan actually uses Eyebright and Sabadilla plants as active ingredients in their products. Eyebright is actually intended to reduce symptoms of watery discharge, redness, and eyelid swelling. Sabadilla is supposed to help reduce watering eyes and eyelid redness. What I found most interesting is that these ingredients are both flowers – what I normally fear because of pollen. Also? You can use the eye drops as often as you might need them!
But what about when the allergies end up in my sinuses? Similasan offers a Sinus and Nasal Relief which is a non-drowsy, antihistamine-free, homeopathic method of helping before your symptoms maybe go too far. The Sinus and Nasal Relief alleviates congestion, sneezing, runny nose and itchy eye symptoms when it comes to indoor and outdoor allergies (of which I have both.)
I hate allergies, but I’m glad that I’ve discovered new remedies to help me this season!
