First signs of fall

This week’s You Capture challenge topic is the “feeling of fall“. That was kind of easy for me, since fall JUST hit us. We were sitting pretty with our 80 degree weather, and then were hit with 60 degree temps (and in the 40s overnight) over the past week. Crazy weather.

So this tree is in our back yard. I know I’ve been showing a lot of trees from my yard lately, but one, it gives me a reason to hang out in the yard. And two, I really love my yard, even if it is a pain to take care of sometimes.

Do you see the red speckles?

I love the berries (I just discovered them. I’m sure I’ll be singing a different tune when they fall off and I mow over them.)

I loveeeeeee fall. My birthday is in the fall (next week!) and my wedding anniversary is coming up. When I got engaged, and we decided to get married in October, it was a no-brainer that I’d have to have this photo taken.

What are your feelings about fall? Love it? Hate it? Discuss. šŸ™‚

  1. Fall is by far my most favorite season. Best sleeping weather of the year, best time to be outside, sweater weather, I love walking outside this time of year. We’re really lucky this area has such a long fall season too. I used to swear that I hated it when I worked in a hotel, as that was the busiest season for us, but I was really just disappointed to not have more time to enjoy it!

  2. Great pictures. A favorite season for me too if we actually get to enjoy it. Right now in MN it feels like we went from summer to winter. Ugh!
