first trip to Ikea

My friend Lena and I hit up Ikea today in Charlotte. Neither of us had ever been to the store, and while Lena spent way more time creating her list on ikea.com, I finally came up with one last night.
One should probably not run 12 miles the morning of such a big shopping trip. Nor should one only get six hours of sleep the night before. Just not good.
The trip was a success, in our own ways. I only spent $20. I personally think I spent the least amount in the world-of-Ikea.
Next time I go, I’ll be a little more prepared for the madness. And I promise, there will be a next time.
we love Ikea…but I agree it can be a little overwhelming. I think you need to go in with a gameplan or room you want to tackle in order to come out spending under $100.
LOVE Ikea … after the newness wore off here in Atlanta, it became less of a hassle to go. Now it is one of my favorite places to pass the time between a lunch with hubby at the studio and picking up the oldest from school.
