That’s right, people. We didn’t sleep last night. Thankfully my husband is a way better person than I did and totally stuck with the “chapter 5” method that worked for us before. (Otherwise, I’m sure I’d still be in the baby’s room, rubbing his back.)
So here is a list. Five things on my mind today.
–I ran 4 miles during my lunch hour yesterday. It was pretty amazing, and I never go over 3 miles during lunch. This was SO needed and we ventured into a part of the city that I rarely run. I’ll take photos next time. The houses are so pretty.
–I’m hoping to go to Ikea this weekend. Tomorrow! I have my list ready to go, and I probably won’t spend more than $25. I do love Ikea, but I can never bring myself to break the bank there.
–This face? He kills me. So sweet. I should print this out and keep it on my nightstand for those times he wakes up throughout the night.
–I’m almost two weeks out from the marathon, and I still have no desire to run another full marathon. Normally I’m itching to sign up for one a week after I complete a race. Not this time! I think I’m done.
–I have a serious addiction to diet Pepsi. I need to break it. I feel awful and attempt to stop drinking so much, but then we don’t sleep and I feel like I neeeeeeed it. I am not a coffee drinker, so this is my caffeine fix.
