Flashback to a year ago

Yesterday my Timehop showed me a blog post from a year ago – 36 weeks pregnant. 

This week I was taking photos of my baby girl for her birthday party invitations. 

Can you even handle the cuteness?? This is a photo I ended up not using on the invitations, even though I love it (and this is a look she gives us often.) 

It’s mind-blowing how much has changed this past year. The exhaustion is still there. It’s just a different kind of exhaustion. A lot of the weight is still here. It’ll go away eventually. Instead of buying baby gear, we’re getting rid of it slowly, but surely. I have at least three friends who are pregnant right now and I’m passing a lot onto them. 

I’m in the middle of planning a small party for her birthday. If you want to compare her first birthday to her older brother’s first birthday, they are going to be wildly different – especially in the guest list size! The differences between first- and second-born are no joke.  

This past year has flown.
