I’ve attended many funerals in my 29 years. Many. Family members, friends, strangers (I work at the newspaper. Sometimes, it’s part of the job.) Today, I attended the memorial service for Paxten. I really feel for his family.

I’ve only known of Paxten for a few short months, but, man, has that 3-year-old motivated me.

I went running today and it finally hit me. I have to run in his memory. It’s no longer in his honor, and that really sucks.
