‘Tis the season for delicious treats – and this Gingerbread Smoothie is quick and simple to make with Greek Gods Greek Yogurt. I’ve shared a few of my favorite smoothies over the years, and this time I went a little more festive and tried to get a gingerbread flavor (without adding loads of sugar.) I think I succeeded, and my daughter was even a fan!

I picked up three flavors of the Greek Gods Greek Yogurt at Walmart. (Find it in the dairy section, where all of the yogurt is, on the lower shelf.) My husband likes to eat Greek yogurt daily, but I’m wondering if I can come up with a black cherry smoothie – maybe this spring?

But I digress. This recipe took me more time to track down the spices in my cabinets than it took to actually make it.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of milk
1 banana
1/2 cup of the Greek Gods Greek Yogurt in Honey Vanilla
1 tsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
Ice

Add your ingredients to your favorite blender starting with the milk and Greek Gods Greek Yogurt and working your way down to the spices and ice. I added extra ice and blend until it’s a thick and smooth consistency. Enjoy!

This Gingerbread Smoothie is quick to make, and doesn't have an overpowering flavor. It uses The Greek Gods Yogurt (in Honey Vanilla) and is yummy AND filled with protein! #ad #GreekGodsHoliday

I sprinkled a little more cinnamon on top. The smoothie doesn’t have an overpowering gingerbread taste, which is one reason I think my daughter enjoyed it. (And she LOVES a good smoothie!)

So, why go with Greek Gods Greek Yogurt? The yogurt is gluten-free and contains live and active cultures. Each serving of Greek Gods yogurt has 9g of protein and it’s organic, non-GMO and made with milk from cows that are not treated with growth hormones. When I was looking up their flavors on their website, I noticed they have a salted caramel Greek yogurt. If you’re in one of those markets lucky enough to have that flavor, please let me know how it is. Please and thank you.

What flavor of The Greek Gods yogurt would you want to try first?
