Going places.
Okay, my last entry said I was updating a lot…what a liar I am š I really meant to post an update – several times. But, here I am, sitting in a hotel room in Louisiana (which I’ll refer to as Coke-country – I haven’t seen a Pepsi since I arrived) and I had thoughts, and a few minutes.
I’ve only been in “cajun country” (they love to refer to themselves as that in this area) since Tuesday. I head home later this morning. I came down here for work-related workshops, and it’s been good. I came down not feeling wonderful about my work, or my contribution to my company and I leave today feeling a little more positive, and a little more hopeful. I will try not to hold myself to such high expectations, but I definitely feel that I can make more of an impact when I return to the office…look out C-T!
I booked a trip to California just before I left for Louisiana. I’m more than excited about this vacation. I head out there March 1 and I’m definitely going to make the most of it. Any suggestions as to where I should visit? I’ll be in Los Angeles. Please…email me or comment on the blog. I appreciate it!
I have to sign off now and get ready to head back to Carolina country – which, by the way, I’m trying to figure out what North Carolina is really known for, besides tobacco. Let me know what you think. I would hate traveling and feel that I needed to refer to my home state as “tobacco country”. Ugh.
