Traveling light(er) with the Graco Breaze™ Click Connect™ Stroller
A huge thanks to Graco for providing the product featured in this post. As I mentioned previously, I am part of the Generation Graco panel this year. All opinions are my own.
When our son was born, we had one stroller, and it was a jogging stroller. We were gifted a Graco stroller when he was about 5 months old and when he was closer to a year, we bought an umbrella stroller for a trip we were taking. We do use our jogging stroller a lot (with him and with our baby girl) but the umbrella stroller may have gotten the most use because it folded so much smaller than anything we had. It’s no secret that I love to wear my baby, but there are times that I just need to keep her in her car seat, or she’d be more comfortable in a stroller.
On Tuesday, we made the trip from Asheville to Jacksonville, Florida. We brought along the Graco Breaze™ Click Connect™ Stroller because I can slide our car seat easily into it. Tuesday night was TERRIBLE for getting our girl to sleep, and we resorted to walking her around the neighborhood in the stroller. She doesn’t fall asleep as much when I wear her these days, so I was hoping the walk would help. She was asleep in roughly 40 minutes. (Oh, and I got a little bit of exercise.)
It was perfect. The stroller rides so smooth, and with the car seat in, she was able to watch me until she fell asleep. Or glare. She really wanted me to hold her and she was beyond exhausted.
I wasn’t sure if we really needed another umbrella stroller, but after using this one for a couple of weeks, I’m so glad we have it. It folds easily (you can fold it with one hand!) and it fits in the trunk of my car. It is bulkier than our other umbrella stroller, but this one accommodates our Graco Click Connect™ car seat. (The car seat did not come with the stroller, and I had it before our baby arrived in April.)
(This is what you push/pull to collapse the stroller.)
The stroller comes with a cup holder for parents – which is perfect! The basket underneath is so big and held all of our belongings when we visited the zoo one evening.
(It was a light show at the zoo – and someone was able to ride along comfortably.)
This stroller can hold children up to 50 pounds – so I can use it for my 8-month-old or my 5-year-old. And believe me, my 5-year-old sometimes prefers to be pushed in a stroller. Oh and check out the canopy. The problem with our other umbrella stroller is the canopy never shaded my son. The canopy was useless. This one comes out and down so much further!
If you are in the market for an easy to use (and easy to tote) stroller, the Graco Breaze is one you really should consider. I think it would make a great registry item too. I definitely see my family using this for several more years. (And I have two strollers I’ll be getting rid of since this one came into our lives.)
Oh we should check this out for travel. Seems so much easier! Thanks for the review!
That looks like a great travel stroller. They are key to easy traveling with babies.
Beautiful baby! We are thinking of starting our own little family in a year or so and I’ll be exploring all the gadgets and strollers at that time! Thanks for the recommendation 🙂
After having five kids I can’t tell you how important a good travel system is!! This looks like a great one, I would have been lost without our system!
Whenever there is a need to get a stroller, we always had to look for ease of storage and transfer, multi-functionality, lightweight, and durability. I think this Graco Breaze has it all.
This does sound like a reliable and adaptable stroller. It’s definitely going to be a good one to take along on trips!
This stroller looks super easy to open and close! That’s one of the functions I always check before buying a stroller because some of them have been a terrible pain to maneuver. I’ve always had great luck with Graco!
Umbrella strollers usually don’t impress me but this one looks terrific. This one looks sturdy and yet not too flimsy or bulky.
This looks like such a great stroller for traveling! While I don’t have kids, I’ll have to tell my friends who do to check it out.
