hanging in Binghamton
We’re at the end of our trip, which brings us to Binghamton, NY and Hallstead, Pa. (I’m blogging from Hallstead – a first for me, since they haven’t had internet access in any of my prior visits!)
My cousin Erin hosted a cookout at her house last night so we could make sure we saw everyone on my dad’s side of the family. My aunts, uncle, grandma, cousins and cousins children all attended.
My cousin’s daughter, Emma, has taken to calling my husband “Penny.” (Rather than Kenny.)
I do have video, but I’m having all sorts of uploading issues. I promise that as soon as we return to Asheville, video will be up. It’s actually pretty cute š
So lots of family visiting, swimming and relaxing is being done before our trek back tomorrow morning. I haven’t used my cell phone in about 18 hours. That’s weird. I can’t get a signal up here. (I’ve been told that if I had updated it before the trip, it would be working.) So I’m technologically-deprived until we hit the road!
No harm in being technologically deprived while on vacation š
I think not having a cell phone would be one of the best things about the trip…having real down time is getting to be more & more rare!
