Happy 4th of July!

We started our day off with the Firecracker 5k in Weaverville. Our unofficial times weren’t too bad – I finished around 28:59 and Kenny finished in 24:40 – a personal best for him. Not so much, for me! I just wanted to finishe in under 29, and I managed to do that 🙂

Shout out to one of my best friends, Missy, who turns 30 today! She’s older than me…but did remind me that I’m not far behind her.

And, one more shout out to my brother, Jason. I’m sure he’s probably having to work today (they don’t let the Army band off for big days like today). I hear he had a pretty good time with my friend, Mai, when she was in Hawaii last week. You should check out his recap. I’m still waiting on the photos…

As for the rest of the day, we may take in a pool party and then head downtown to check out Chad Mackey at 5. We’re supposed to get together with other friends later tonight. Should be fun.

I may even have to slip in naptime this afternoon.

  1. Jaime: It’s so nice to be able to read what you and Kenny have been up to. Your pictures of your week in Buffalo with your dad and Gail tells it all. Appears like all of you had a very busy, but enjoyable time together. Have you had the babyshower yet? Your idea of designing onsies and bibs is such a cute idea. I can’t stand shower games either!! Give my love to Kenny. Love and hugs, Aunt Linda
