a healthy update

I’m going to try and post these updates on Wednesdays, but I have You Capture going up tomorrow and just thought I would get a health update in here before the week gets completely away from me.

Remember I joined team Tinsel Vixens on the Shrinking Jeans site? We’re going healthy over there. And I think it’s working!

I ran on Saturday. It was glorious. I ran this morning. It was awesome. I walked and walked and walked until my legs were SORE this weekend.

I’ve increased fruits and vegetables (from my normal daily amount of maybe 1 or 2.) And I’ve decreased my sugar intake – unless you count today, which I’m not….for now.

Um. Yeah. My husband brought home a chocolate cake he won in a silent auction. There may have been a discussion about WHY he bid on a CAKE. But, whatever. We invited a few friends over and had an impromptu cake party. So much fun!

And my weight this morning? Yep. It was down. Which is great since Thanksgiving is just two days away.

My goal for the next week is to drink more water, exercise a little more and keep up the good work with the fruits and vegetables. I think it’s totally doable.

My team rocks. It’s been fun checking in with them every day. I’m so glad I joined this challenge!
