hoping to get out of the house soon

I worked from home again today. I talked to my boss first thing this morning, and we were debating the roads, and she told me to not even chance it. Just stay home. So I did.

I can’t believe I got anything done, but I’m happy to say that I’m SO much further along with the redesign at work after today. I even hopped on the computer tonight to take care of a big piece of the puzzle. It’s exciting. I can’t wait until it’s over (come February 3, it should be launched, and I can resume my normal every day life.)

Chloe is not a fan of conference calls. Especially when they’re on speaker phone and she is trying to sleep in the same room. Yep. Found that out today.

I am great at multitasking. For my lunch break, I managed to cook lunch, do a load of laundry AND bake banana bread. How’s that for a power lunch?

And after all that, I never stepped foot outside the house today. Strange, I know. It’s so cold, and I couldn’t have moved my car until after lunch. By then, I was notified of a conference call that I had completely forgotten about. (I knew about my 4:00 call, but not the 3:00 call. Oops.)

I’m hoping for no snow tomorrow. I really need to show my face in the office at some point this week….
