house update

I checked out a few homes that we had an interest in, but really just wanted to see the neighborhoods first. You’d be surprise at how crappy Asheville can be. And that sucks. I love Asheville. I want to live here. I want to afford a home here, but I don’t want to be surrounded by trash…

We should be able to look at the home we really, really love sometime this week. Doesn’t help that we’re not 100% sold on the neighborhood. If I could just take that home and put it on a different street, it would be 100% perfect.

Is it too much to ask to have the perfect house on the perfect street, and still fall within our price range?

  1. well think of it this way. You could buy a house in the perfect neighborhood, and still have crappy neighbors move in after you. I guess it will depend on how much you like the house.
