I have a gift.

I have a gift for hearing a few seconds of a song in the background of a store or on a TV show or anywhere really and knowing who sang it. I’m about about asking Kenny if he hears that. We’re often out to dinner and I’ll say, “do you hear that?” and I’ll totally interrupt him. I do it most often when the artist is someone I love and is not someone very popular.

It happened last night and I immediately went online to see if I was right. I confirmed it just now with Ingrid Michaelson’s twitter account. I was watching Grey’s Anatomy when I heard who I thought was Ingrid in the background. It wasn’t *really* one of her songs, so much as it was Sara Bareilles featuring Ingrid. It was fun, nonetheless. I remember hearing the song several months ago (maybe last year?) and loving it, but never buying it.
