I’m awake and can blog a little, so here goes.

I worked yesterday and it was rough. I had a difficult time getting back in the groove of things, especially with so many people out on vacation. Hoping the rest of the week (both days I work) will be better. I’m off again on Wednesday and Thursday.

I arrived home to find that the husband had done ALL of the laundry – including folding and putting it away. What a nice surprise šŸ™‚ He was also planning dinner. He told me about his list he’d like to get done today, and I’ll be happy if he just goes out to play disc golf. The laundry was enough for me!

I ran a couple of miles yesterday (in addition to walking the dogs) and I think I’m almost mentally prepared to get back into marathon-training mode. I’m running the Country Music Marathon again in Nashville at the end of April. Training with Team in Training doesn’t being until January 31, and I believe I’m physically ready to start training again. I do need to get new running shoes soon, but I’m almost there. The break I took this past month has been nice.

The most exciting part of my day, though, was reading Lynde’s blog šŸ™‚ I’m very excited for her and her husband. You will have to head over there to get her good news….

I think I may post my year in photos (not just blog year, but the entire year.) My photos are more organized this year and it shouldn’t take that long. Look for that sometime tomorrow.

New Year’s Eve is going to be a night in at our house. Last year’s NYE wasn’t so great, so we’re going to make it a great one by staying in. What are your plans?
