I can’t get enough Kristan Higgins. I’ve bought out all used copies at my local used book store, and I’ve bought several used books of hers on Amazon. I think she has at least a dozen books, and since I started reading her a month ago, I only have 3 (4?) left to read. Obsessed, I tell you.
This past week, I read:
Catch of the Day – This book was a little different from most of Kristan Higgins other books. You don’t know if people live happily ever after. There was a story line with a priest that I wasn’t too fond of – I just found it a little weird and off-setting. I was intrigued by Malone, though. And I still liked the book.
Waiting On You – I really loved ‘The Best Man’, but this one may be my current favorite Kristan Higgins book. It’s about old love becoming new love again. And there are a few relationships that the book touches on and I was really happy to see so many stories in one. I read this on Saturday (I was lucky my son took a long nap. I plowed through this book.)
I’ve ordered In Your Dreams, which comes out September 30. (That’s an affiliate link.) I may have also ordered Fools Rush In and Just One of the Guys. Those two are older books and I bought them used. (I do love buying used books, if possible.)
I have one more book (not Kristan Higgins) that I’m reading and will post a separate review soon. In the meantime, what should I read when I’m done with all of her books? Help a girl out, internet!

I think I have read all of these. My Mom would buy them and pass them down to me. I have a box of boxes here… we should do a trade.

LOOK AT YOU GO!!! isn’t it funny how we can get so wrapped up in an author? I just can’t bring myself to read the other 2 authors the librarians suggested to me since they aren’t the one I was reading LOL silly, I know. maybe i need to hit the used book store next time I am in the city….

Never read anything by this author that I remember-but them with all the books I’ve read over the years it is possible I have!

Look at you go! I wish I could get into reading again. I used to read Mary Higgins Clark a ton. That was one author I could read everything from.

I just love it when I find an author whose books I can’t put down. I am usually that way with Nicholas Sparks, though I do that with J.R. Ward too.

I just finished Jesus Freaks by Andrea Randall and it was really good. It was different than I expected and I was really happy to have given it a chance.

My reading lately has been academic. Certainly not fun, but I’m looking forward to the time when reading will just be for pleasure!
