Improving gut health with Gut Connection

Since my daughter was born, I’ve really had to take a look at my health and ways I can improve it. My body definitely changed a lot, and I didn’t bounce back after pregnancy, like I did after my first child. (In my body’s defense, more than 4 years separate my children, and I was much closer to 40 with my second.) I’ve been fairly consistent with daily vitamins, but in the past year I added a probiotic to my daily routine. Recently, I was sent three prebiotics to try out (different from the probiotic!) and I was pretty interested to see how they can help me.
A prebiotic is a type of dietary fiber that feeds the friendly bacteria in your gut. It can help improve your digestive system. Country Life has a line of Gut Connection prebiotics and each can help with something a little different. They sent me Immune Balance, Energy Balance and Digestive Balance. They have a few other products that I definitely want to try out. I was interested in each of these, though, for very different reasons. I’ve been trying Digestive Balance because my digestive health is a little out of control since a trip I took back in April (and I haven’t been great about watching my junk food intake.)
They can all improve gut microbiome health. The Digestive Balance can also reduce your occasional digestive distress and bloating. Gut Connection by Country Life contains an innovative, whole food fermentate prebiotic that feeds the existing probiotics in your gut and helps maintain its lining.
I really just like that it helps make me feel more balanced. I’m going to try the Energy Balance next because my energy levels have been lower, and I’m going to take any extra help I can get. I think the Immune Balance is going to be great for the beginning of school in August!
