information overload
It’s no wonder I don’t fall asleep at work – I have too much going on (most of it work) and I keep falling asleep while watching TV this week. I was out at 9:15 last night!
A little rundown of my week:
Training for new position. I must learn more PHP and coding for our website, which is in a language that my company MADE UP. It isn’t even real. Nice. I also have to learn the ad system (which has changed vendors, so is totally different since the last time I worked in the online department.) I also have to learn various other systems, and they all live on different servers so I have to figure out what goes where. Just to edit the website, you can work on the development server, then the edit server and then the live server. Um. Ok.
The guy I’m replacing has been training me. His wife had a baby on Tuesday. I’m SUPER excited for them (in fact, I want to plan a cinco de mayo fiesta/first birthday party for the baby next year) but GEEZ I wish the baby had waited another week!
TNT is doing a yard sale/fundraiser this weekend. Guess who offered up her garage for the sale? Yep. Not smart. It’s been a bear trying to organize everything and keep everything separated from our unpacked stuff. Really, my garage looks like a big yard sale. I just don’t want to sell grandma’s china on accident.
Speaking of TNT, I have a TNT meeting tonight. Too much stuff going on.
It’s been raining for DAYSSSSS. I can’t mow my lawn and it looks terrible. Today it’s sunny and the mower (my mom’s) is not working. This is about to get very interesting.
I’m getting my hair cut today. It needs it.
With my new job, I get to go back to working at 8 or 9 a.m. Yippeeee!!!!!
I started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD yesterday. It’s pretty awesome. I can feel it in my arms. My goal is to do it every day. I’ll also start running again soon, in addition to the shred DVD. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Now that I have all of that off my chest, how are you doing?
You DO have a lot going on!
You know what they say…if you want to get something done, ask a busy person. Sounds like you’re setting yourself up to be the “go to” gal! I know why you do it though…it sure makes things interesting : )
