This week’s You Capture topic was “what inspires you?” I’m inspired by a lot of people and things – and views.

This place inspires me to run (because I generally miss out on the pretty colors and views and peaceful places unless I’m running or walking the dogs.)

Same area, but looking in a different direction. You can’t really tell here, but we have a view of the Biltmore Estate from my neighborhood.

And I took this one today – the sunrise over our neighborhood.

Ok, back to inspiration. This guy (my husband) inspires me every day. In this moment, we were having fun – while trying to also get family photos taken. (This will not appear on our Christmas card this year.)

(And while I didn’t shoot this particular photo, I’m going to take credit since it was my idea to make sure we captured this moment.)

  1. The Biltmore is such a BEAUTIFUL place (in fact, my folks are there right now for their 50th wedding anniversary). I’m totally voting for you to use that last photo on your Christmas card! 🙂

  2. I love that you get a glimpse of the Biltmore from your neighborhood. Kinda made me think of that Sarah Palin skit, “I can see Russia from my house”, lol.

  3. You live in such a beautiful, perfect area! And you do a great job of capturing that beauty. That sunrise is breathtaking and I love the fun photo of you and your husband!
