I  set out to do a different post today and then remembered I had SO MANY photos on Instagram this past week! So you’re getting a fun Instagram roundup.  (Follow me on Instagram if you’re over there!)

We ended the week (last Friday evening) with a walk and a rainbow.

I was tagged in a “what I’m doing now” post. I had just finished running and had my feet up on my boss’s desk. (true story.)

This kid loves his lawn mower. It blows bubbles. We were able to play for about 20 minutes before the mosquitoes ate us for dinner (and we had bug spray on – any recommendations in something that will keep the mosquitoes at bay??)
A co-worker had this twinkie/cupcake. It was awesome and it deserved to be in Instagram.

And bath time isn’t complete until the cat decides to join in. She’s not that afraid of water. It’s odd.

Lucas loves Cookie Monster and thinks that it’s fun to eat like Cookie. One evening, while eating orzo pasta and cheese, he kept yelling “Cookies!” and face planting into his tray. And there is video. Oh yes, there is video.

Asheville’s biggest party, Bele Chere, begins today. This road closed sign was just waiting to be set in place last night. The streets of downtown are closed for three days. It’s a good time.

I knocked out a couple of crafty decor projects last night, in preparation for my husband’s birthday cookout. I’m excited. Let the planning commence (with less than 36 hours to go til party time!)

  1. Well, I guess I don’t feel so bad for waiting till now to plan Emma’s bbq/birthday party for next weekend. What crafty projects did you do?

    1. We have tissue poms (which I plan on saving for a month to use at the 2-year-old’s party!) and I made a birthday cake bunting. I’ve gathered a few other random items that I needed to make tomorrow complete (chalk, for instance.) I’ll post pics early next week, I hope!
