I didn’t think I had much for an InstaFriday post, but apparently I took several photos of my sleeping child. (I have even more on my phone that didn’t get posted to Instagram. Apparently his napping is HUGE these days!) Oh, and I’m posting this on Saturday. So it’s an InstaSaturday post!
I busted out the manger early this year, since we didn’t even get to enjoy it last year (I ordered it in January.) The toddler loves playing with it. The camel is his favorite. And he feels that baby Jesus deserves to be in all of the action, rather than resting peacefully in the manger.
We went to a birthday party and I encouraged (fought for) this car nap, so he would be rested for the party. My efforts paid off!
What a morning at my house tends to look like.
I went into the baby’s room to grab blankets to wash. It was dark, and I thought, “I wonder how he got the bear into the crib?” Except it wasn’t a stuffed bear. And I jumped. My cat scared the crap out of me.
Snow! It has barely snowed in the past two years, so we embraced the inch or so we had Wednesday morning.
As seen on my Thanksgiving morning run. Life-sized plastic horse and his (new this year) Native American friend.
Sometimes I have to rock the toddler to sleep, as was the case for Thursday’s nap.
And how was your week?
