Introducing Touch of Cloth from Seventh Generation #touchofcloth
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Seventh Generation for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
My son is just past the diaper stage, but I have several friends who have new babies. As a new mom, you have so many questions and worries. Your primary goal is making sure baby is safe.
We set out to cloth diaper my son and occasionally, cloth diapers weren’t as simple as we’d like them to be. The question then became what was safe to use on our son’s super sensitive skin?
One of the diapers we turned to was Seventh Generation. We already used a lot of their cleaning products in our home, and I felt they were a brand I could trust. Did you know that it can take up to 300 years for a traditional diaper to decompose in the landfill? My boy went through so many diaper changes in a single day. One of the reasons we went with cloth and Seventh Generation was because these diapers don’t sit in the landfill as long.
Also? Fewer chemicals. My son still breaks out when he comes in contact with certain products. From his first day, I knew I had to work hard to keep the safest products on him.
Seventh Generation has a new diaper – Seventh Generation Presents “Touch of Cloth” – that is the first and only disposable diaper to feature a remarkably soft backsheet with pure unbleached cotton.
I never had to worry about leaking when it came to their disposable diaper, and they helped us when we were traveling or were not going to be in the easiest places for cloth diapering. They definitely brought us peace of mind when we most needed it.
Oh do I ever know about sensitive skin and allergies to certain products. If I use a different laundry detergent I still at age 64 itch to death! I am glad that you found something that works! Yes, 7th Generation is a great product!
I’ve never used Seventh Generation, but I’ve heard fantastic things about the product line!
I love Seventh Generation products and currently use their wipes with my toddler. I love using eco-friendly products and they fit the bill.
My little guy has sensitive skin so I definitely have to careful. I have tried other Seventh Generation products in the past and have really liked them,
I have no idea that Seventh Generation had a diaper line. How cool. I have heard of some of their cleaning products, though.
My girls are well past the diaper stages. But I sure know about the sensitive skin issue, all three of them had sensitive bums.
