is it finally over?
This week has been hellacious. It started with Tuesday. (Monday was really fabulous.) Things went bad starting Tuesday, and it all snowballed from there.
Things were chaotic at work, and I was late getting to work twice this week (ok, so maybe I was also playing the Wii fit those mornings…)
But one thing after another. It just wasn’t fun.
What will be fun, though, is my weekend, which started just after 5:00 today. I’m heading over to the Grey Eagle tonight to see Pat McGee (I wrote a story about him, and realized today that someone changed the headline and it was WRONG! Still going to try and not let that ruin my weekend. I just hate that I gave them a headline to use and someone changed it.) Tomorrow we’re going to see the new Harry Potter movie. I also have plans to run this weekend (hoping for 12 miles) and of course get in time on the Wii.
I see a ceiling fan in our future, and some massive cleaning. My husband’s 30th birthday cook-out is next Saturday, and we are going to have at least one house guest! Yay!
In a little more birthday news, I bought tickets to see Tori Amos in Atlanta on July 27. We also booked a pretty sweet hotel on expedia (and got the hotel for around $55!!) We’re going down Monday (July 27) to hang out and see some friends, do some touristy stuff and see the show, and we’re coming home on Tuesday evening. I’m actually pretty psyched about it!
