it talks!
I haven’t mentioned this on here before because I thought people would think I was crazy. Thanks to Google, I know I’m not.
The day our roof was installed, I thought I heard voices in my hallway. I chalked it up to the roofers cell phones. I heard the talking a few other times. It’s weird. I can never track it down.
Then last week I heard it and the husband happened to be around. I asked him he heard that noise, and he didn’t know what it was and thought I was a little nuts. He did hear it, though.
Finally on Saturday night I heard it. Only this time it was after midnight, several friends were over and we had had a few drinks. When the voices started, I asked April if she heard that and told her we couldn’t figure out what it was. We ran down the hallway (she thought it was her cell phone, only to find her phone was in her car) and never heard it again.
Until last night. And I figured out it was our smoke detector….that has a freaking TALKING alarm! I think it just needed to be reset.
Now I know I’m not crazy, but that alarm sure is.
I’m glad you finally figured out what it was! At least now you know there aren’t any people living in your attic!
I would have thought that my house was haunted, and I think that I would have been seriously thinking about moving out.

That would have creeped me out in the worst way.
it was definitely creepy the first week, but I chalked it up to the roofers. After that, I thought I was nuts. Now we’re just trying to decipher what the alarm is telling us. Kenny thinks it’s telling us to change the batteries. It’s almost like having a parent around that won’t get off your back.
That’s bloody freaky!
