It’s just how it happens sometimes
The husband has taken a strong interest in Guitar Hero for the Wii. I didn’t realize just how strong this interest was until yesterday when he saw that K-Mart had the game for $70 (on sale from $100.) Last night he asked if I wanted to “look at the game.” I told him the last time we just “looked at” something, we came home with a cat.
I also mentioned that this was kind of a big purchase, and the last time I made a purchase like this, I was handed one week off without pay. (I had just purchased over $100 worth of tickets at the Orange Peel.)
We still headed to K-Mart and were a little disappointed that they were sold out. So we drove to a second store, only to find it was closed.
Imagine my surprise when I get a call at 11:30 today from the husband saying, “I have a Guitar Hero game in my hands. Right now. Do you want it?”
Sure. Why not?
At 12:02 p.m. an email came from corporate. We’re in for a second round of furloughs.
Can I call it, or what?
I guess I’ll be taking up Guitar Hero and trying to make some money off of it.
I love Guitar hero but I stink at it. Enjoy! š
Whoa, I would quit spending money if I were you, haha, that is too weird.
At least we’re good at budgeting. If we weren’t, we’d be screwed right now. Shannon, you’re right, though. I should stop spending frivolously. (I wonder if I spelled that right?)
Chic Runner…..my husband has been playing the game so much I haven’t even touched the guitar!!!
