it’s not called the Frostbite 5k because it’s summertime

We’re set to run the Frostbite 5k this afternoon (2:30 p.m.) I thought we were in the clear with our weather, but knew that today would be cold. I just didn’t expect to wake up to snow.
There are still flurries falling, and most of our snow is gone now (the sun hit it and *poof* no more snow.) You can see a little snow in the corner of our yard that’s shaded by trees.
I now wish I hadn’t signed up for this race. I could use a break from running in the cold! I haven’t run in temps over 35 degrees in over a week.
