just in time for winter

The husband and I decided to choose today as our first day of working out again. Not running, but weight workouts, pilates, whatever strikes us for that day…in an effort to get back into shape. (Running tends to make us out of shape because we believe we can eat whatever we want if we run that day – regardless if it’s 1 mile or 26 miles.)
We should be in shape by November. Right in time to show off our winter bodies.
Makes no sense.
Something about the fall makes me amp it up too, maybe b/c subconciously I’m afraid I’ll go into winter out of shape, but I’m never in shape, haha! I’d hate to see where I would be if I didn’t try though, now that’s a scary thought.
Yeah…I’m never as motivated to exercise during the summer! I always start out in the spring and think, “I’m totally going to be in shape this summer.” Never happens. I maintain the same level of out-of-shapeness all year round…
OHH I have that problem too. I like to eat whatever I want regardless if I do anything or not. I have issues with chocolate and soda. Kudos for you and Kenny for at least trying.
