Late winter snow day!

Last Wednesday we woke up to a light snow – something that continued throughout the morning, but then melted by mid-afternoon. It was the wildest thing, but my favorite type of snow.

My phone actually filled up before I could take photos, so these are all with my Nikon. (And I must say I’m not sad about running out of space. I really need to use my Nikon more often!)

This almost 2-year-old is no longer freaked out by the snow. She has proper snow gear – down to her snow boots that should fit her into next winter.

My son made a path for sledding (which was shortlived. The snow really wasn’t amazing for sledding.) And he took his sister down the path twice.

And my boy had fun throwing the snow, and making snow/leaf angels.

Today it was in the mid-60s and beautiful. Forecasters are predicting another 2-4 inches of snow for my area on Wednesday morning. As long as it melts by lunchtime, I’m a happy camper.

And tomorrow is the first day of spring! I’m so ready.

Are you still getting snow? Are you reading for spring yet?
