Finished mowing the lawn this afternoon. I decided to put oil and gas in the mower (it’s been a while on the oil, and it did need gas.) Shortly after I started it, the mower decided to start smoking profusely and then it shut down.
My husband drove up just after the last of the smoke started to disappear. I attempted to start it two or three more times with him watching, and the mower just didn’t want to start. It would rather take a smoke break.
After 20 minutes, my luck changed. The mower started, and while it still smoked for a couple of minutes, we got through the yard without further incident.
I’m just wondering how many mowers a girl can go through in a summer? We’re currently on number 4, if you count the reel mower.
