Looking back on our family memories – and preserving them
This post is written in partnership with BraVoMark and Canvas Champ.
Since my son was born over 7 years ago, I’ve made family photos more of a priority. Almost every year, we’ve had pictures taken, but I haven’t always printed them. I shared a photo of one of my kids on Instagram a few months ago and my friend (who happens to be our family photographer) was so happy to see one of her images on the wall of my bedroom. I think so many of us have hundreds and thousands of pictures, but rarely do we print those images and display them in our homes. Over the next year, I am making preserving my family’s memories one of my priorities.
CanvasChamp offers cheap canvas prints and a wide variety of custom home decor items. They offer smaller canvas prints for under $5 and I think that’s such an affordable and beautiful way to decorate your home. Our downstairs room (a catch-all room that houses a television, toys, crafts, etc.) has been a work in progress for the 10 years we’ve lived here, and now I’m hanging large prints of our photos in there. I do love a square canvas print that CanvasChamp features on their site.
With the holidays quickly coming up, I’ve also been looking at photo gifts. They offer such a variety of gifts from pillows to magnets and puzzles. They even have dog beds! I could add my kids photos to tote bags (and how fun would it be to use the tote bag as a gift bag?)
I love all of the different options, and I can’t wait to start ordering all of my favorite photos on different size canvas from CanvasChamp.com. Since I’m working on our catch-all room, I think I want to go with some fun Halloween photos – kid costumes are SO much fun!
And candid photos on canvas can be incredibly sweet. One of my most favorite canvas prints in our living room is this one of me and my sweet baby boy six years ago.
I really don’t think you can go wrong when it comes to CanvasChamp and all they have to offer.
Whether you are updating a family room, bedroom or dining room, or picking out gifts for a friend or family member, CanvasChamp has a lot to offer!
What types of photo gifts do you love to give or receive?
This is such an important reminder. I have so many actual photos from when my kids were little, but I honestly can’t remember the last time we had any printed (they’re now 23 and 20). I totally blame it on smartphones (and probably some laziness), but you’ve inspired me to dig around and find some photos worthy of frames and get to printing (or canvasing) and hanging.
Adorable photos! We just moved and I have all the walls to fill. I’ve been scrolling old photos with printing/canvassing in mind.
I’d love to say we just moved, but we’ve been in our house 10 years and I’m just getting around to hanging photos in some rooms! š
