a lot of Christmas talk before Halloween

I figured since I told you about my rotten-turned-okay day, I needed to tell you that I had pretty good day today. All of it.

The inspector didn’t show up until 2:15 this afternoon, but I was able to work from home and I got a lot of stuff accomplished. Once he was gone, I went into the office and got even more done. It was awesome.

Ceramics was great – I’m painting yet another snowman, but a large piece. (Photo is on my photo blog.) I have several other pieces I want to paint asap. We’ll just have to see how things go.

I started looking for Christmas cards. I’m not sure if we’re going to go with a photo card or if I’ll make our cards. I’ve found several really fun designs online, but I also had fun (even if it was a little stressful) making most of our cards last year.

Speaking of Christmas (because I’ve mentioned winter/Christmas stuff twice now!) I got two of our tickets to the Biltmore Estate today, for next Wednesday. They’ll be bringing the Christmas tree in. I’m psyched. I’ve always been on the press side, and never the visitor side for this. And my family will be here, which will make it even more fun.
