As a mom of very fast-growing little boy (and a growing baby girl), having snacks on hand is not an option. As a human who likes to relax at night and has a problem with snacking, having healthy snacks on hand is a must. We recently received Lundberg Family Farms Grounded Snacks Red Rice & Quinoa Tortilla Chips to test out and I’m now on the hunt to keep them in my kitchen.
First off, these tortilla chips are organic, whole grain, gluten free and allergen free. They’re also vegan and kosher. Second, they are FULL of taste. They come in 5 flavors (Cinnamon Sugar, Ancho Chile, French Onion, Aged White Cheddar, and Pink Himalayan Salt) and the Aged White Cheddar is by far my favorite flavor.
The Ancho Chile was a little bland for me. I expected it to be spicy, and it really wasn’t. The Cinnamon Sugar was a definite sweet treat, and I’ll be purchasing those again, for sure!
A little about Lundberg Family Farms: It is an independent, family-owned company. And it’s currently being operated by the third and fourth generation of family members. They are also committed to farming practices that fuel a healthier planet.
I honestly thought the red rice and quinoa combination would make for a strange texture for a chip, but these weren’t strange at all!
There may have also been a taste test in my office, and the favorite flavors were the Aged White Cheddar, Cinnamon Sugar and French Onion. For $3.49 a bag, the Aged White Cheddar really needs to be the first flavor you try.
Another snack to try of theirs? The Salted Caramel Rice Cakes. I’m already a fan of rice cakes AND Salted Caramel, and they do taste a little different than your standard caramel rice cakes. (So, go ahead and look for them in stores.)
While you can check lundberg.com to find out stores that might be carrying these snacks near you, they’re also available through Amazon and Thrive Market.
