It’s my last day of vacation and my dad and stepmom are coming into town today!
Did I forget to mention that they’re moving to Florida? Yep. Florida. We found out the first week of July (just after we left New York) and they’re on their way now to the sunshine state. Asheville is a small detour.
Too bad it’s been raining for the past week, and it’s raining more today. Otherwise, we could have done something fun downtown. Instead, we’ll have to figure out something entertaining to do indoors.
Right now I need to make sure the cat hair is all swept up. These people have allergies, and Chloe is not going to be a fan of their stay (we’re kicking her out of the guest room so there’s less cat for them to sleep with.) I’ve at least washed all of the bedding (comforter included) and everything looks nice in the guest room. The rest of the house? It may have to wait.

Yay! So glad you’re going to do Kiawah! We should definitely plan a meet up at some point. (Yeah I thought about doing the full, and was actually planning on it, but then I thought since it’s around the holidays I may want a break on training.)
