Merry Christmas (Eve!)
We’ve had yet another busy day. Random outings to the mall (to get my glasses fitted), to K-Mart (twice), Radio Shack and grocery shopping.
We made it to church for the 6:00 service and then over to the grandparent’s for their anniversary dinner of lasagna.
Jason called at the end of dinner and my mom, grandparents and I got to talk to him. He sounds good, but tired. I think he had just woken up. I hope he enjoys the gifts we sent him.
It’s 10:20 and we’re baking an apple pie and I’m about to make the cranberry relish. Tomorrow I’ll attempt to make the sweet potatoes. My mom’s going to come over in the morning for breakfast and we’re going to attempt normalcy. It’s weird without Jason.
I hope to blog longer tomorrow. I have good stories about Salvation Army and the salesman at Radio Shack. I guess they’re both appropriate for Christmas Day.
Hope you’re having a merry Christmas 🙂
We are wishing you, Kenny and your Mom a very merry Christmas. Enjoy the day to the fullest, as this will be your only “1st Christmas” in your new home. Glad your trip back from Lake Waccamaw was unentful. Love Aunt Linda, Uncle Al and Grandma B.
Merry Christmas friends! Much love and happiness to you both.
Julia
It was 4 a.m. and I had already been up for 5 hours.
4 a.m.? No wonder you sounded tired and a bit out of it.
