Mommy & Me: Baseball and swimming

I only have two weeks left of my leave and I’ve been trying to make the most of my time with the kids. I’m feeling a little sad that we really don’t have any type of summer trip planned, and it was tough to plan anything with the baby being so tiny.

This weekend, my high school classmates met at a local baseball game for our 20th (!!!) reunion. At kind of the last minute, I found a friend to watch the baby because the weather was SO hot, and she would have been miserable being worn by me for 4+ hours. So it was kind of like old times with the husband, boy and me. We took a lot of silly photos and then got one nice one.

The same friend who watched the baby has a pool, and it’s not too far from us (maybe 3 miles.) I took the kids on Saturday for a bit. On Sunday we went twice, while my husband worked. (Bedtime ended up being fairly simple last night. The boy was TIRED!) And before anyone gets too concerned, the baby was under the umbrella the entire time (and occasionally my friend took the baby inside.)

(Look! All three of us in the picture!)

I envision a lot more pool time this summer. And hopefully a few more (cooler) baseball games.

Linking up for Mommy & Me Monday and Marvelous Monday!
