Mommy & Me Monday: Snow edition!
As I mentioned over the weekend, we enjoyed a good amount of snow this weekend! We’re still iced in (our street is one of the last to be treated or tended to, so we’re relying on warmer temps and sun to melt the ice) and school was canceled today. I’m actually working from home, and hoping to make it to campus later today.
My son loved the snow. We could barely keep him from running outside on Saturday.
Thankfully he listened on Sunday and was a little more interested in watching movies than playing in frigid temps. (Though, he did go outside once on Sunday.)
We’ll see how today goes. He knows the snow is going away and since it’ll be in the 30s, rather than single digits, I don’t mind him running around today.
My daughter was not super impressed. She doesn’t love being bundled up, and it was still very cold regardless of the hat/coat/mittens.
Of course I had to document baby’s first snow (and our family’s first snow of 2017.)
All this snow and freezing temperatures are good for a few days, but I’m looking forward to the mid-60s we’re supposed to see at the end of the week!
Linking up with Marvelous Monday and Mommy & Me Monday!
With you on looking forward to that warmer weather! It was fun for a couple of days, but I’m so grateful we don’t live further north. Over the ice.
My kids kept wanting to go outside, too! I let them go in the backyard and stayed warmly bundled inside!!
