I meant to share these last week. They were perfect for Monday & Me Mommy!

I think it’s ok that it’s just the back of my head in this photo. Look how much fun my toddler was having!

He loved playing in the pool at my in-laws house (it was about 3 feet deep. And he’s wearing his Puddle Jumpers because if he fell, he couldn’t pull himself out of the water.) We added the bath toys and had a blast. Cheap fun.

This was taken on one of our first nights at the beach, on our porch. Excuse the food, but it appears my son loves smiling if he has food in his mouth.

More food in the mouth. But he was entertained. And when they’re almost 3, you just want to make sure they’re entertained.

This past weekend, we had a LOT of rain. Saturday afternoon, we broke out Toy Story. My boy had never seen it before. He has now watched it 3 times and keeps asking for more. (I bought the 3-pack Blu Ray series, but haven’t watched 2 or 3 yet. We have some time.) He was SO STILL throughout the movie. Best purchase ever.

Have you gotten in front of the camera recently with your child? (I recommend it. My summer scrapbook has been started, and the photos are amazing – because the three of us are in them!)

  2. I need to make a point to get in more pictures. It’s not so much that I mind having my picture made, but I am always behind the camera.

  3. I love watching Toy Story (all of them.) We have good times with kiddo watching them over the years. Lately we are stuck on the Lego Movie. We watched it again over the weekend and I am still singing “everything is awesomemmmmmm”

  4. He is definitely enjoying the movie! LOL! We love the Toy Story movies too. 🙂
I’m usually the one behind the camera, but I’ve been trying to get my husband to take some of the kids and I. I don’t want them to look back at vacation photos someday and wonder if I was even there! LOL!

  5. This is such a cute post. I love that you’ve got all of these pictures, so you can hold on to these memories. While we may always have the memories, it’s nice to see them in action.

  6. I’ve been trying to get out from behind the camera more often. I have a lot of great pictures of my kids though. I need to be in them more often.

  7. I took a few of them with my daughter when I was visiting her. I rarely make sure I’m behind the camera, so that was nice! Love your shots!

  8. Looks like you guys had so much fun! Photos are such a great reminder of the wonderful time we spend with our families and the great memories that we created. Thanks for sharing with us.

  9. I love taking pics with my 3-year-old, but I’m convinced that I am the WORST selfie taker…ever! I wish I could master how to hold the phone and touch the screen to take a pic with nails. It’s so awkward when I do it.
