Monday has one up on me

I woke up exhausted this morning. Monday is really beating me down. For that reason, you’ll get a list today.

We finally got the shelf and picture frames up in our bedroom. They were a PAIN, but they look good. I’m not touching the shelf for fear it’ll fall, so that picture is staying put for…..well, forever, if I have anything to say about it:

Our bedroom is turning into one of my favorite rooms of our house. It used to be my most hated room. I’m really pleased with how it’s turning out, though!

My grandmother had a doctor’s appointment today, and I’m hanging out in the waiting room. Two ladies are sitting across from me, discussing the newspaper and their delivery. I’ve considered interrupting them and mentioning I can help….but I don’t want the entire room to know where I work. So I’ll just sit back and pray they can hear my thoughts.

I’m still trying to think of a vacation this summer. I’ve gone so far as to have my dad price tickets to Disney (since he lives in Florida.) I may be in touch with my friend Ryan very, very soon. (Oh, and Disney fans, I suggest you check out his site. You’ll be impressed!)

Changes are in store for our family (and they don’t involve expanding our family for you relatives that read this!) I can’t say anything today, but hopefully this week I can fill you in on what’s going on.

I watched the Super Bowl last night…and sewed four pillows for our room. I’m such a girl. I was half interested in the game (though I was at least interested) and I skipped several parties so I could stay home, rest, and be crafty.

I think my body is fighting off a cold or something. I’m exhausted. I’ve slept so much in the past few days, and I just have that overall icky feeling today.

I really, really don’t like Mondays in general.
