mostly about the garden
It was a very busy afternoon for us. We made a trip to Lowes, went running, did a lot of yard work and gardening, and I’m now in the middle of uploading 282 photos to Snapfish to try and take advantage of their free shipping weekend. Sadly, I don’t have time to sift through my hundreds of photos and write about Hawaii.
The slacker in me started uploading the Hawaii pictures to Snapfish roughly 30 minutes ago. Bad timing on my part.
I spent a lot of time this afternoon extending our garden: 
The side on the right (with the very black dirt) is the new addition. I was tired of trying to mow beside the box, so I just took it all the way to the fence. I did get our lettuce and peas planted, and I’m waiting until May to plant everything else. I can’t wait to pick vegetables out of my own yard this summer!
My Hawaii recap will return probably tomorrow. Let’s hope that Snapfish finishes my upload quickly tonight!
Jaime – the garden looks great. We’ll have to talk about that raised bed – I need to get mine back up to snuff so I can use it this year. You’re not leaving again any time soon, right? š
