moving….the pictures

Before the move, this is how we were living:

We had several fantastic friends who showed up to help. There was a schedule with shifts, jobs and food breaks…but we quickly hid the book. The food breaks were still taken, but everybody did a great job with lifting, moving and dealing with the chaos.
We rented a U-Haul, which was an experience in itself. The check engine light was on the entire time, the tires were low on air and the brake lights (the ones that come on when you’re in reverse) went out. It was difficult to get balanced and positioned properly and the ramp was rarely on the ground. Lots of lives were almost lost walking off that ramp…..but, here’s the husband driving it:

We moved!
The sign has yet to be picked up. It’s just laying in the yard now…I’ll post a few more pictures later, including one of Mr. Manilow.

He was a great helper š He helped with all of the needed breaks and distractions! People wanted to be on Levi-duty!

Hey that looked like fun! I think Levi had the hardest job of all of you. You should take the sign and put it in someone else’s yard! I like the house though.
that bird is too funny! Congrats, I love the house it’s so cute. The outside is something you’d see in a tv show. š
Good idea, Stephanie!!! You should put the sign in Mayor Bellamy’s yard. How hilarious would that be?!?!?
p.s. I hereby name your house the “Copacabana” in tribute to Barry Manilow.
… Her name was Lola. She was a showgirl. With yellow flowers in her hair, and a dress cut down to there …
